20ft Non-Working Refrigerated Container Conversion
20ft Non-Working Reefer container converted into climate controlled mobile research lab. The container is outfitted with multiple personnel doors, an interior partition wall, and electrical and HVAC is included. The exterior has also been painted white. The unit was re-certified for shipping and transported to the customer’s site in the Bahamas.
Modifications Include
- (2) 3’ exterior steel personnel door with handle & deadbolt (recessed to be flush with exterior container walls)
- 6” thick interior partition wall (insulated) with 3’ interior pass through personnel door
- Interior framed with 2” x 4” wood studs 16” O.C. with R-13 fiberglass insulation, walls lined with 5/16” Hardie paneling ™
- 9,000 BTU mini-split HVAC (recessed and in place of front wall of container)
- (4) 4’ LED lights with switch, (6) 110V duplex receptacles, (1) 220V receptacle, 100-amp panel stubbed to exterior for hardwiring
- ¾” plywood (painted gray) installed over existing t-rail floor
- Exterior painted white
- Container re-certified as cargo worthy for shipping
