40ft High Cube Container Conversion
This 40’HC container was converted into a climate controlled modular machine workshop. The interior was completely finished and outfitted with lights, outlets, and a ductless mini-split HVAC system. A steel checker plate overlay installed on existing wood floor, along with a stainless-steel workbench, water inlets for plumbing, and a 2,000 lb JIB crane. The exterior was painted tan and the container was re-certified for shipment to Grand Cayman.


Modifications Include
- Interior framed with 2” x 2” steel tubing, insulated w/ 2” thick closed cell foam, and walls paneled with 3/8” thick FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) plywood
- 2-Ton ductless mini-split HVAC system installed for temperature control (recessed on front wall of container for shipping)
- 36” Industrial steel personnel door installed sidewall (recessed within exterior dimensions of container for shipping)
- (8) 4’ vapor proof LED lights, (2) switches, (5) 110V duplex receptacles, 100-amp panel stubbed to exterior for hardwiring to shore power
- 3/16” steel checker plate overlay on existing wood floor, painted gray with an epoxy coating
- Installed a 2,000 lb JIB crane c/w beam trolley and chain hoist
- The container was re-certified for shipment to Grand Cayman
