40ft Standard Container Conversion
This 40’ container was converted into a climate controlled modular laboratory unit. The interior was completely finished and a partitioned off into two separate areas. Multiple doors and mini-split HVAC systems were installed. The floor was painted with a non-skid coating, electrical/lighting throughout, and the exterior was painted white.
Modifications Include
- Interior framed with 2” x 4” wood studs, insulated w/ 3” thick closed cell foam, and walls paneled with ½” plywood & 5/8” sheetrock overlay painted white
- 4” thick closed cell foam applied to under-carriage
- (2) 33,000 BTU ductless mini-split HVAC system installed for temperature control
- 35’ run of 12-gauge galvanized steel E-Track installed along interior sidewall
- (2) 36” Industrial steel personnel door and interior door installed in partition wall for access to both portions of finished interior
- (7) 4’ LED lights, switches, (1) exterior LED porch light, 35’ wiremold raceway w/ (14) quad receptacles & (28) L15-20, 120V duplex receptacles, wired back to 125-amp 120V/208V 3-phase panel with 125-amp main breaker c/w (30) 20-amp single phase breakers
